Genesis Recovery provides substance abuse treatment to individuals who desire a new way of life. The program serves 24 medically stable male adults (18 and older) who suffer from the disease of alcohol and drug addiction. Program goals and objectives of treatment are intended to educate and support an individual through the process of recovery by focusing on the physical, emotional, legal, social and spiritual consequences of alcohol and/or other drug use.
Our therapists and AOD counselors are licensed and credentialed, and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience when treating individuals from a variety of cultures, backgrounds and addictions. All clinical staff are supervised by the Clinical Director who maintains licensure, and all staff participate in ongoing trainings, accreditations and degrees to maintain excellence in the field. Our Medical Director utilizes medication and health education to stabilize addiction and mental health symptoms, support the overall physical health, and give a person the best opportunity to participate well in the program and maintain recovery.
To meet the needs of residents participating in Genesis Recovery, the program offers a structured, moderate-intensity schedule seven days per week (with a minimum of 20 hours of counseling), allowing ample time for exercise, community and recovery-related activities throughout the day, evening and weekends. All residents receive random drug screenings a minimum of two times per week throughout the treatment experience.
Genesis Recovery places great emphasis on the multifaceted, individualized aspect of treating addiction by implementing a disciplined approach through 12-step work, prayer, meditation, Scripture, individual therapy, group work, psychoeducation, family therapy, exercise, nutrition, and more. Though our list of clinical services is extensive, below includes a sample of both Group Topics and Services included in our program.
